Mr Radhakrishnan has been a member of the Board since 2011.

Mr Radhakrishnan started his career as a school teacher in 1962. He was actively involved in a number of organisations. He was the Deputy Secretary General of the National Union of Teachers (1966–1974), and later Vice President (1974–1975), Director of Education of the Malaysian Trades Union Congress (1969–1975), President of the Malaysian Educators Social Action Council (1971–1974) and Hon. Secretary of the Malaysian Association for Education (1970–1973).

Mr Radhakrishnan was called to the English Bar as an Utter Barrister of the Inner Temple in 1978. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1979 and made a partner of Shearn Delamore & Co in 1984. His area of specialisation included insurance law and medico legal law. He retired as a partner in 2001 and was reappointed as a Consultant. He ceased legal practice with effect from January 2020.

Mr Radhakrishnan was the Legal Adviser to the Medical Defence Union (1980–2001). He is a founder member and Past President of the Medico Legal Society of Malaysia (1999–2001), Secretary of the Malaysia Inner Temple Alumni Association (2008–2010), Secretary of the Asean Law Association of Malaysia (2001–2003) and Chairman of the Gandhi Memorial Trust (2011–2015).

The Malaysian Medical Association in recognition of and in appreciation of his dedicated service rendered to the medical profession conferred on him the Healthcare Service Award in May 2003. In the same year, the Society of Medical Graduates from India, Malaysia (SOMGRIM) conferred on Mr Radhakrishnan its Honorary Membership of the Society for his meritorious services rendered to the medical profession and the country.
